Ein unglaublich tolles Buch!Man sollte auf jeden Fall englisch sprechen können um die Texte zu verstehen.Aber sonst fehlt in diesem Buch nichts, ich bin wirklich begeistert.
Mit Bildern, Farblehre, Lichtlehre sehr gut ausgestattet und man kann die Techniken sehr gut nachvollziehen, sehr empfehlenswert für alle die einmal einen Blick ins Reich der Maskenbildner und MakeupArtists werfen wollen!
The Make up Artist Handbook ist aus meiner Sicht das Beste, was ich in den letzten Jahren in die Hände bekam. Möglich, dass ich noch nicht alles gelesen habe, aber ein solch detailiertes Handbuch ist selbst in meiner umfangreichen Sammlung der Fachbücher neu!Jedes Gebiet in dem der Make up Artist "zu Hause" ist, wird hier betrachtet, Anregungen und Tipps werden gegeben. Angefangen vom Zeichnen, den richtigen Proportionen über das Muskel- und Durchblutungssystem, Haut (natürlich mit allem was dazu gehört), Farb- und Lichtlehre, einem kleinen Einblick in diverse Film- und Fototechniken, den richtigen Arbeitsmaterialen und natürlich bis hin zu den wohl zu erwartenden Tipps für Haare, Make up und Special Effects. In jedem Kapitel gibt es umfangreiche Profitipps - gekennzeichnet als "PRO TIP" mit Rahmen. Hervorragend sind auch die Herstellerlisten und -adressen sowie der Hinweis auf Fachgeschäfte in anderen Ländern.Zu empfehlen ist dieses Buch jedoch nicht zum Erlernen des Handwerks - vielmehr ist es eine Hilfe und Unterstützung für Anfänger und für Make up Artists, die bereits ein paar Erfahrungen haben, aber auch für die alten Hasen ist dieses Handbuch durchaus empfehlenswert [Hilft hervorragend gegen Betriebsblindheit!:-)] !Ich wünsche viel Spaß beim Lesen und Lernen und Auffrischen und und und...
